Remembering Pop/RnB Singer Raja Rose @Iamrajarose

Hindu American Pop & RnB singer Raja Rose passed away in his sleep Saturday January 10, 2020.
Raja was one of New York City’s Rising Stars and was becoming one of the music industry’s leading alternative R&B performers. In December of 2019, Raja released a new single titled “La Fiesta” featuring Tali Goya which can be found on all major platforms. At the start of this year, he signed a deal with Roc Nation. He was much loved by his fans who called themselves #RoseGang.

While working with McCaffery Media Group, Raja spoke to Rise & Stand founder Katrina McCaffery about his childhood abuse, battle with addiction, PTSD, and depression. Despite all he had been through, Raja remained positive. He poured his heart and soul into his music which was extremely unique given his ethnic background.

Raja planned to become a team member of Rise and Stand this year. He wanted to speak to youth about fighting depression and addiction. He was very passionate about living your dream despite setbacks and mental illness. The Rise and Stand team were working on organizing speaking events at schools and youth groups for Raja to speak when he met his untimely death. Our hearts are broken and this is a tremendous loss. We pray or his friends, family, and fans.
